This binocular feels superb in the hand, it's solid rubber armour providing excellent, secure and ergonomic grip as well as protection and quite handling (wildlife are less likely hear you manipulate the binocular!).

The perfected and precise mechanics round out these superb binoculars. It is only natural that BaK-4 glass has been manufactured into these binoculars and that the optical surfaces have been fully multi-coated (FMC) to increase luminosity and contrast.

High light grasp optics With their 42mm objective lenses delivering brilliant images even the dimmest lighting conditions (twilight, shaded woodland etc) the 8x42 is the ideal glass for the field trips of the serious birder or wildlife spotter.

Long eye relief eyepieces with rubber screw down eye-shields allow a full field of view for spectacle wearers (see picture showing one eyepiece in the down position).

The Pentacon 8x42 has a standard tripod fitting point - an additional bracket is required.
