It's all very well having water-proof binoculars but if rain or other moisture gets on the surface of the eye-lenses you won't be able to use the binoculars until this wetness is dried naturally or by wiping dry (and this can be risky). The reason is that beads of moisture laying on the lenses act rather like lenses and bend the light spoiling the focus and image quality making it impossible to see anything until the water is completely removed.

The double eyepiece rain-guard simply attaches to one side of your neck-strap and can be easily positioned to protect your binocular eyepieces while they are hanging around you neck.

The rain-guard fits most binoculars with objective lenses in the 42mm to 50mm and larger range. Lowest picture shows the rain-guard fitted to a 10x42 binocular.
