This ultra-compact spotting scope makes a great companion for travel and is an ideal present for any budding nature observer. With very useable 15x - 45x magnifying power to hand, whenever the need arises, it is quite easy to anticipate that this spotter will find a permanent home in the glove compartment of your car.

In use, the lower power magnification rewards the observer with beautifully clear resolution, which is incredible given the price of the instrument, whilst it is only with higher magnification that colour fringing becomes more noticeable. But the real surprise is saved for last! With close focus down to about 3m (10ft) you will be stunned by how much detail you can observe, even at 45x magnification. The spotter collapses down for storage & transportation and, once mounted on a tripod, is then fully extended for use. The Revelation 15-45x52mm Mini Tracker Spotting Scope comes with a travel bag and a mini folding table tripod. We found that the mini tripod performed better after we removed the rubber feet, as stability became a problem at higher magnifications. Mounting the spotter on a photographic tripod is certainly recommended as ease of use and our comfort levels increased dramatically. Eye-relief is a comfortable 16 - 14mm which is ideal for those who do not require spectacles but is of limited value to those who prefer to wear glasses whilst observing.
