This superb quality 1.25" to 2" eyepiece adaptor features a built-in 2" filter thread to take 2" filters, integral T thread for photographic use and an anti-marring eyepiece holder.

The adapter allows 1.25" eyepieces to be inserted in a 2" eyepiece holder and features an integral 2" filter thread and an internal brass collar to stop the locking screw marking your chrome eyepiece barrels. The adapter also has a male T thread to allow SLR camera attachment (Please note: a camera model T mount adapter is required for and is not included).

The adaptor fits all 2" eyepiece holders, and allows the use of 1.25" eyepieces as well as 2" filters. This is a very useful feature if you own 2" filters, as it allows the eyepiece to be changed without removing the filter. The 2" nose-piece features and anti-slip recess to minimise the risk that in cold weather the retaining screw may retract and loosen thus allowing equipment to fall from the telescope causing you much unnecessary vexation (not to mention having to apologise to the neighbors for rousing them from their slumbers with vehement curses in the still, vast, and middle of the night).

Our comment: this high-quality adapter provides camera connection and 2" filter fitting making it an ideal upgrade to standard adapters. Made of aluminium and hard-anodised in a high-gloss black finish the adapter looks as good as it performs. A couple of nice touches that set this adaptor apart is the brass collar that prevents the lock screw marking the chrome barrel of your eyepieces. Also the anti-slip nose-piece ensures minimum risk to expensive eyepieces and cameras used with the adapter.
